Sheerclamps | Filling The Gap

When I fitted the sheerclamps I managed to cut the piece on the port side a bit too short, leaving a small gap at the stem.

This was no serious matter. I simply trimmed the offcut to fit and glued and clamped it in place, like this.

I left it to cure and cleaned it up, as here.

I will remove the extra strong wire stitch hidden under the blue tape when I fit the upper breasthook, which is loitering on the deck in the background.

Job done!
