Seatback Frame | Installation

With the seatback frames successfully dry fitted port and starboard, I got out the epoxy resin and glued everything in place.

It was fairly straightforward.

My only anxiety was making sure that the joint between the sheerclamp and the topside panel received enough glue, being a very tight fit. It seemed to go well.

Here is the port seatback frame permanently installed, with lead blocks holding down the lower stringer at the stern.

And here is the starboard side, again with lead to hold the lower stringer firmly in place.

This felt like a milestone event. PocketShip will soon be three dimensional from the deck up!

A small celebration was called for ...

Gin and tonic with ice and a slice. Bliss.
