About This Blog

When I decided to build PocketShip I also thought it would be fun to do a simple blog about progress, or the lack thereof. I have followed several boatbuilding blogs and while many builders make posts as and when things happen, like a diary, others post when they have something material to report, or when they reach a milestone event. I am going to take the second approach, so I can report on project or component progress or completion rather than day to day events.

I chose Blogger as a platform because many others builders have done so, and it is so simple that even I can use it. It shows posts in reverse chronological sequence, so if you want to follow this story from the beginning you have to go into the Blog Archive on the right and go down to the early posts. I did this when following several blogs and it really isn't a big deal.

My PocketShip build began on 1st October 2018 and we are now in February 2019. I am posting retrospective reports on what I have done so far and my trials and tribulations as well as successes.

It's a lot of fun but it's not without some heartache!
