Snagging List

I had been keeping a list of minor tasks which would require completion before the boat could be declared ready to move, and now was a good time to get them done.

They are really too trivial to merit serious  attention, but two things are worth pointing out.

First, the cabin floorboards.

When I repainted the interior of the boat I managed to splash the floorboards with white paint - not much but enough to make tidying up a necessity.

This is one patch on the starboard side at the front of the cabin, after it had been scraped clean.

There were three other small patches.

Here is the same patch after its third coat of Danish oil.

So that looks nice now.

Second, the reinstalled jib sheet cleats on the cabin roof needed some sealant around their bases to finish them off.

Here is one cleat with no sealant.

Ans here is a cleat with its sealant in place.

That's better!

And that's about it, as far as snagging is concerned.

There are still a couple of things to finish off - more to follow!
