We were approaching the day for moving the boat back outside, onto her trailer, and I was keen to make sure everything was ready to go.
The final test installation was the bowsprit. This had to wait until last because there was no room to fit the bowsprit without raising the garage door and moving the boat further back inside.
So all the clutter was removed and PocketShip was repositioned in the garage. And the door was raised.
The tabernacle was then fastened in place against the front cabin wall, and the bowsprit was slid into position and bolted into the tabernacle.
Here it is seen from the bow.
All went well.
Here is the butt of the bowsprit, secured in the tabernacle with its pivot bolt.
And here it is held snugly in position inside the bow aperture.
It all fitted well. The final test was to connect the bobstay to the bow eye to check that it fitted tightly enough. It did. This is the shackle.
I'm happy with that. The boat is now structurally complete again and ready for life back on the trailer!
